COO - Chief Obstacle Obliterator
Sascha started his career with Stuart Olson as a laborer while still in High School. Over the years he has had the opportunity to work in various fields, such as heavy equipment operations, transportation, Oil & Gas shutdowns/operations and production. Sascha has worked as an employee and a manager, running crews with up to 2500 people. During this time, he discovered a passion for Safety and decided to take his hands-on knowledge and put it to use in a field where he felt there was significant room for improvement.
He has spent the past 10 years in safety specializing in many different areas and creating the strongest safety culture possible. He is happy to finally have found his fit with Armour Equipment and looks forward to a long and exciting adventure with them.
“True safety does not come from an off the shelf safety program… but through an instilled safety culture. Understanding that just implementing new policies and procedures does not cultivate a safety culture…it is just a mere by product. This is one of the biggest challenges we face today in the safety industry.
People create culture!
As safety professionals, it is our duty to help everybody come together to ensure their integration into this culture.”
– Sascha Grund
